I use two monitors, a Samsung 757MB (CRT,1360x1024@75Hz) and a LG 194WT widescreen (LCD,1440x900@60Hz) without problems so you shouldn't have any problems either.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 1GB RAM and Ati Radeon 9800 Pro. I can only make 2x AA screenshots at max res(2048x1536) so I use a few smaller screenshots and autostitch to make a bigger picture.
Thanks for the quick reply, as I said this was just a quick test. I'll make some more print friendly and better pictures tomorrow. When I have some good screenies I'll post the previews here and if you approve I'll send the full versions in e-mail. Hm, I should use the computers at work to make the pictures, it would speed up the process considerably
Just a quick test, highly compressed to fit the 1.95 MB upload limit. I'll upload some better pictures tomorrow after I got home from work.
Edit: The picture was made with autostitch so it's edited in a way but only to merge the smaller pictures from LFS, is this allowed?
AFAIK there was a "race" here last year and there will be a GP this year too. But I agree with you, the Hungarian GP should be much more exciting to watch but they would have to build a new track for that .
IIRC Scawen said that about patch W, X and Y. If you read the news archive you see that there weren't any multiplayer incompatible patches other than Patch X. Probably patch Z will be physics incompatible. But this is offtopic here.
Currently I'm building the second version of my H-gate shifter but I didn't want to build it from Lego because I don't have so much Lego and I want a shifter that can take punishment and feels similar to a real car so my shifter is made from metal. I hope I'll be able to use it in the Wednesday LX race.
As I said in the most recent clutch thread I use manual clutch all the time, even when I'm racing with mouse and keyboard and I never had any problem. You don't need a lot of clutch control to race, you can pull away or change gears perfectly with a button clutch after a little practice.
Most manufacturers don't sell independent pedals. If you find one that does please tell me, one of my teammates might be interested.
Here is what I did. I built a 3rd pedal from LEGO(don't laugh) and used a very cheap USB joystick's circuit and one of the pots for the pedal. If you can obtain a second pedal set and a cheap USB joystick you can do the same as I did, you just don't have to build the pedals. I'm sure you can find some cheap things in Tesco(IIRC you have Tesco in UK)
